Effective Date: September 10, 2025

Last Updated: September 10, 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ConsentKeys.com's PseudOIDC identity verification services ("Service"), you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

ConsentKeys.com provides OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity authentication services under the brand name PseudOIDC. Our Service is designed to prioritize user privacy and pseudonymous authentication, allowing users to authenticate with Client applications while maintaining their privacy through pseudonymous identifiers.

3. Client Registration and Account Security

3.1 Registration

To use our Service, you must register and obtain client credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your client credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify ConsentKeys.com of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Privacy and User Identity Protection

4.1 Prohibition Against User Identification

BY USING THIS SERVICE, YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE NOT TO ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY, DEANONYMIZE, OR DETERMINE THE REAL-WORLD IDENTITY OF ANY USER WHO AUTHENTICATES THROUGH OUR SERVICE. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Correlating pseudonymous identifiers with personal information;
  • Using data analytics, fingerprinting, or tracking techniques to identify users;
  • Combining our authentication data with other data sources to reveal user identities;
  • Sharing or selling data that could lead to user identification; or
  • Requesting additional personal information beyond what is provided through our standard claims.

You acknowledge and agree that if we reasonably believe you have breached this provision, we reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate your access to the Service and may pursue any and all available legal remedies.

4.2 User Identity Disclosure Policy

You acknowledge and agree to inform your users in your own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy about the following, ensuring the language is clear, conspicuous, and not buried in a lengthy document:

"This application uses PseudOIDC, a service provided by ConsentKeys.com, for authentication. PseudOIDC provides pseudonymous login to protect your identity. However, if this application ever decides to stop using PseudOIDC and migrate to another authentication provider, your real identity may be disclosed as part of the account migration process. You will be notified with a minimum of 60 days advance notice, and you will be required to provide explicit consent before any such disclosure occurs."

5. Service Migration and User Consent Requirements

5.1 60-Day Notice Requirement

If you decide to discontinue using PseudOIDC and migrate to another authentication provider, you MUST provide your users with at least sixty (60) days advance written notice before the migration occurs.

5.2 Explicit User Consent for Identity Disclosure

Before any user identity information is disclosed during a service migration, you MUST:

  1. Clearly explain to each user that their real identity will be revealed and transferred to the new authentication system;
  2. Require each user to manually type the exact phrase: "I consent to identity disclosure" as a condition of migration;
  3. Ensure that such explicit consent is provided in a form that meets or exceeds applicable electronic signature laws (e.g., ESIGN, UETA, or equivalent international laws);
  4. Users CANNOT simply click a checkbox or button to provide this consent; and
  5. Provide users with the option to delete their account instead of consenting to identity disclosure.

5.3 Non-Compliance Consequences

Failure to comply with the notice and consent requirements of this Section 5 will result in immediate termination of Service and may result in legal action.
